Whether you're a new or experienced blogger, perspective is always important--especially in three areas: readers, feedback, and what you read.
When I first started blogging, I had these grand dreams of having a huge blog with a ton of followers like the blogs I was reading. I was so naive then. There was a lot I didn't know; like how much time those bloggers spent, how long it had taken them to get there and how active they were in marketing themselves. I also didn't know just how many mommy bloggers there were!
When you're starting out, it's helpful to know where you're going. If your dream is to be a mainstream mommy blogger, that's fine but then you need to know what that takes. If you just want to express yourself, that's great too but then you need to be realistic about…

Having a certain number of "fans" or friends on Facebook does not equate to book sales! And, unlike Goodreads, you have no credible way of tracking those who are interested in your books. While I would encourage authors to get as much fans and friends as they can, it is a mistake to think that asking a fellow author (who knows little to nothing about your work) to like your Facebook page will help in the long run in promoting your books.
Your chances of developing a devoted following and garnering book sales is more likely if you targeting your desired audience through ads on Facebook. Doing so over the long run along with providing excerpts of your novel, writings, poems is a…

Let's get the basics out of the way. What is StumbleUpon?
StumbleUpon allows you easily to discover new and interesting stuff on the Web. Just tell SU what you like and they'll introduce you to amazing web pages, videos, photos and more you wouldn’t have found on your own.
As you Stumble through great web pages, tell StumbleUpon whether you Like or Dislike their recommendations so StumbleUpon can show you more of what’s best for you. They will show you web pages based on feedback as well as what similar Stumblers and the people you follow have Liked or Disliked.
I've been using StumbleUpon (thus to be called SU from now on) for almost a year now. Many people don't know…

When you hear the word “blogger” you might think right away, product review and spotlights and in most cases, you are correct. However, many bloggers out there also cover other topics of interest as well. Today, however, I’ll be talking about book/product reviews and spotlights as these are the most popular.
Okay, so you’ve decided to become a book/product review blogger…now what? For some bloggers, they already have connections to get content on their blogs, but most bloggers starting out do not. It’s hard networking and making connections on your own. Finding companies to let you review their products or do spotlights on is another. So what can you do if you’re just starting out?…

Hello everyone! We updated our WELCOME information so it will be a bit easier to navigate the site.
It's time to make some changes at the Brand Buzz Network. We are going back to basics - sharing, learning, and buzzing about brands - bloggers and brands (companies, businesses, and PR professionals).
We are adding Guest Writers and Guest Reviewers as well as other positions so if you are interested check the nav bar under "Join Our Team" for more information..
The "Blogs" are now going to be content driven. Any posts must be approved by Admin prior to it going live on the site. Here you will find articles related to our common interest and benefit. We are hoping to bring on some of the best Guest Writers on the net.
The "Forum" will not change that much. This is your place to share and participate. One area of the Forum will change, there is no longer a place to include or list your giveaways here. However, there is a Group called Great Giveaways and you are encouraged to share your listings there.
NEW Blogger Select Applications are now being accepted and we will be adding bloggers to the group beginning May 1st - Apply Here.
Anyway, we are "cleaning house" so to speak for the next exciting phase of the Brand Buzz Network and we are really excited that you will be joining us! Suggestions, questions, ideas can be forwarded to
